Abstract: The FLAC3D numerical simulation method was used to study the stress distribution charac⁃ teristics of the 2-216 working face of a mine during the tunneling through the fault, and put forward rele⁃ vant decompression and risk reduction measures were put forward. The results show that when the working face reaches 40 m from the fault, the stress concentration phenomenon begins to form near the fault, and the closer the distance to the fault, the more obvious the stress concentration phenomenon. In response to this result,a countermeasure was proposed based on the method of pre-relief drilling, which achieved good pressure relief and anti-shock effect.
