Abstract: Aiming at the problems of complex surrounding environment and land shortage in an openpit building materials mine，through the analysis of mine topography and transportation conditions，mining technology，crushing processing technology，etc.，based on the rational selection of production technolo⁃ gy，comprehensive utilization of stripped materials，reasonable setting of internal dump，and partition lay⁃ out of crushing processing plant，the area occupied by the mine is reduced，so as to optimize the general layout. The scheme reduces the land requisition area，facilitates the transportation of raw ore and products， and saves the mine cost，which has important reference value for similar mine general layout design.
