Abstract: The resources of gold concentrate in a gold smelter is very complicated, and the cyanide leaching process is not very stable, resulting in the gold grade of cyanide tailing up to 3.75 g/t. In order to reduce gold loss and improve the utilization rate of secondary resources, the process flow test of gold flota⁃ tion was carried out on the basis of process mineralogy research. The results showed that the sample size is fine, and the main metal sulfide mineral pyrite is the main carrier mineral of gold. Gold is mainly encapsu⁃ lated by sulfide minerals that are not completely oxidized and slightly enriched in fine grain. The sample was treated by a closed-circuit process of one roughing, two cleaning and one scavenging, and middling was returned in sequence. Finally, a flotation gold concentrate with yield of 13.27%, gold grade of 21.47 g/t and gold recovery rate of 75.98% was obtained. Good gold recovery effect was achieved and efficient recovery of secondary gold resources was realized.
