Abstract: It is difficult to separate copper, lead and zinc minerals from a complex copperleadzinc ore in Guangdong Province because of their fine inlay size and mutual inclusion. In order to solve this problem, the process of flotation zinc separation of copper and lead is adopted. Results indicated that, when selecting copper,FK1 and DS can be used to suppress lead and zinc, which can effectively solve the problem of mutual inclusion of concentrate.Under the condition of high alkali technology, the preferential flotation process of copper first followed by zinc is adopted. The copper concentrate with copper grade of 21.10%,recovery rate of 80.88% and total lead and zinc content of 10.23% can be obtained after coarse copper and lead are ground and cleaning for two times, which meet the requirements of the fourth grade copper concentrate. The zinc concentrate with zinc grade of 52.17% and recovery of 92.78% was obtained by using one roughing two cleaning two scavenging process to treat copper tailings. All the agents used in the test are conventional agents. The test process is simple in structure and easy to be carried out on site,so it can be used as the basis for field reconstruction.
