Abstract: With the rapid development of social economy, soil heavy metal pollution has become an increasingly concerned environmental problem. To prevent soil heavy metal pollution effectively,The surface soil of cultivated land in Wangmo County of Guizhou Province was taken as the research object,The content characteristics of heavy metal elements and their influencing factors were studied by classical statistical analysis and correlation analysis. The results show that,The contents of CD,Cr,Hg and Ni in cultivated soil in this area are higher than the national background values, which are mainly affected by the soil forming parent material. The average contents of CD,Cr,Hg and Ni are higher in the distribution areas of Devonian,Carboniferous and Permian carbonate rocks, and lower in the distribution areas of terrigenous clastic rocks. The research results provide a basis for the county′s cultivated land planting plan and agricultural product structure adjustment.
