Abstract: In order to study the heavy metal pollution situation in Qingyuan Pb-Zn mining area,Zhejiang Province, and select the dominant plants for remediation of heavy metal pollution in the soil, based on the determination of heavy metal content in different parts of the soil and plants in the mine, the pollution of heavy metal elements and the correlation among the elements were analyzed, and the potential ecological harm degree of heavy metals was evaluated. The results show that the soil is heavily polluted by Pb and Cr,Pb and Cd are extremely strong ecologi-cal risks,Cu is slight to medium risks,Zn is slight risks, and the comprehensive potential ecological risks of the five evaluation areas are extremely strong;Pinus massoniana has a strong tolerance to heavy metals, which can be used as one of the pioneer tree species .
