Abstract: There is 2.43% Sb in a stibnite ore in Xinjiang.Antimony mainly exists in cracks of arsenopyrite, pyrite and pyrrhotite in fine and microfine particles.Gangue minerals are mainly quartz,calcium-magnesium minerals and a small amount of aluminosilicate. To provide technique basis for development and utilization of the ore, beneficiation experiment was conducted. Results indicated that,at the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm accounting for 90%,pH value of 6.5 by sulfuric acid,TS-1 is used as sulfur-arsenic mineral inhibitor, lead nitrate as antimony activator, ethyl thio carbamate+butyl amine as collector via one roughing two cleaning three scavenging closed circuit flotation, antimony concentrate with antimony grade of 49.95% and recovery of 95.47% was obtained. The test results can provide reference for the rational development of the ore.
