Process Mineralogy Study on Iron Ore of Liusi in Huoqiu County,Anhui Province

Abstract: Iron is the main valuable element in Liusi iron ore in Huoqiu County,Anhui Province.Fe mainly exists in magnetite inⅠorebody.And inⅡorebody Fe mainly exists in magnetite and specularite(hematite).The mineral structure of ore is mainly semi-idiomorphic granular metamorphic structure,allotriomorphic granular metamorphic structure,lamellar metamorphic structure,columnar metamorphic structure,coedge-metamorphic structure and inclusions.Ore structure mainly striation structure,striation structure and striation strip structure.Magnetite inⅠorebody dissemination particle size concentrated distribution in 0.075~1.2 mm.And inⅡorebody magnetite dissemination particle size concentrated distribution in 0.075 ~ 0.6 mm;specularite dissemination particle size concentrated distribution in +0.15 mm;hematite dissemination particle size concentrated distribution in -0.075 mm.It is difficult to obtain pure target minerals by gravity separation,and pure magnetite products can be obtained by magnetic separation.The impurities mainly include amphibole minerals containing magnetite inclusions and epiphytes.High intensity magnetic separation has less mineral loss but more impurities.
