Abstract: A polymetallic ore in Hunan contains 0.07% molybdenum and 0.17% bismuth. The molybdenum in the ore mainly exists in the form of molybdenum sulfide, accounting for 95.04%,the bismuth mainly exists in the form of bismuth sulfide, accounting for 68.42%,followed by natural bismuth, accounting for 21.64%.In order to determine the reasonable recovery processing of ore ,beneficiation test was carried out.The results show that,at grinding fineness of -0.074 mm accounting for 90%,with sodium silicate as inhibitor and BK205 as collector, via one roughing three cleaning two scavenging Mo-Bi iso flotability flotation,Mo-Bi mixed concentrate via one roughing four cleaning two scavenging flotation separation of molybdenum and bismuth using sodium sulfide as inhibitor, sodium silicate as dispersing agent, kerosene as collector, molybdenum rough concentrate using sulfuric acid as the pH adjuster, sodium silicate as the dispersing agent,SN- 9 as collector via one roughing two cleaning two scavenging desiliconized flotation.Molybdenum concentrate with Mo grade of 48.22%,and recovery of 81.07%,desiliconized bismuth concentrate with Bi grade of 52.12% and recovery of 58.37%,bismuth middling with Bi grade of 2.62% and recovery of 3.23% was obtained.
