Abstract: In recent years,Jijiping Stope of Baima Iron Mine has been affected by various factors, such as low ore price, excessive economic and reasonable stripping ratio in the original design and unreasonable delineation of upper plate local boundary, which lead to high production cost and poor benefit of mining enterprises.Based on the analysis of the market price trend of vanadium—titanium magnet concentrate, the economic and reasonable stripping ratio is re—determined to be 4.34 t/t.According to the principle of open—pit boundary delineation and the actual situation of the mine, the open—pit mining boundary of Jijiping Stope is optimized. After optimization, the ore volume is reduced by 20.019 3 million tons, the stripping rock volume is reduced by 1.424 331 billion tons, and the stripping ratio of rock and ore in the optimized position is 7.11 t/t.Ideal social benefits and economic benfits of Baima Iron Mine are obtained by the optimization of open—pit mining boundary of Jijiping Stope, which is help for the goal of reducing the cost and increasing the efficiency of the mine.
