Abstract: Taking a metal mine in Northwest China as an example,the geological database is established and applied based on Surpac software.Through the establishment of mine geological database,about 36 000 geological datas of the mine are collated and collected effectively;through three-dimensional drilling modeling,hundreds of errors are found from the original datas,the error datas is corrected by data analogy.Based on the mine geological database established in this paper,statistical analysis of 10 572 sample segments are carried out.According to the analysis results,the average value of TFe grade in the original ore is close to 30.5％,besides that,the distribution characteristics of the other elements are described.The study results indicated that technical support of mining engineering,geological engineering,reserve estimation and ore grade dynamic management of the mine can be provided by establishing mine geological database.
