Abstract: The Nanyang Area of Ruichang City is located in the JiujiangRuichang metallogenic belt.Wushan Copper Deposit and Chengmengshan Copper Deposit are found in the belt,which is presented with multiple metallogenic geological characteristics.The soil geochemical survey method,EH4 electromagnetic sounding method,IP intermediate gradient method and highprecision magnetic survey are used in this area,based on the above geophysical prospecting results,the comparison analysis of the main metallogenic space and regional metallogenic characteristics is done,which indicated that the metallogenic conditions of the depth of the Nanyang Area is good.The regional geophysical and geochemical anomaly characteristics is analyzed in detail,and the anomalies are verified by using drilling engineering,the copper sulfide mineralized body is found in the expected position.Based on the regional geophysical and geochemcial characteristics and geological characteristics,and the comparison analysis results of these characteristics and geological and mineralization characteristics of the regional typical mines,the main prospecting directions and prospecting potential of Nanyang Area are discussed.
