Abstract: Taking Xiaoshanyu Limestone Mine in Gangcheng County in Laiwu City as the study example,the geological characteristics and distribution features of the limestone deposits in Baianzhuang Section of Ordovician Majiagou Formation in Laiwu Region are discussed in detail.The mining techniques of separate blasting,separate mining,separate packed and separated transported are adopted in Xiaoshanyu mining area,the ores is separated effectively from all kinds of nonmine interlayers.The ore comprehensive utilization rates is increased by producing the limestone power with high contents of magnesium and construction aggregate by using the waste rocks in mining area.Therefore,the considerable economic benefits is obtained,and the make the mining company turn from deficits to profit successfully.The above ore comprehensive utilization measures proposed in this paper can provide some reliable reference for improve mineral resources comprehensive utilization rate of the mines with the similar geological characteristics and mining technical conditions of Xiaoshanyu Limestone Mine.
