New High Efficient Adhesive Iron Concentrate Oxidized Pellets Experiment

Abstract: Magnetite concentrate oxidized pellets was prepared by application developed QTJ adhesive instead of bentonite, high quality oxidized pellet was obtained, meet the strict requirements for blast furnace smelting furnace charge. The results show that when QTJ dosage was 0.5%, high quality ball with compressive strength of more than 18 N/P of pellet, explosion temperature higher than 650 ℃ can be obtained; The preheating temperature of 1 000 ℃, the preheating time is 10 min, roasting temperature 1 250 ℃ for 12 min conditions, compressive strength of quality preheating ball is higher than 480 N/P, roasting ball compressive strength is greater than 2, 800 N/P. Compared with adding 2% bentonite pellet, finished product ball compressive strength lower, but explosion temperature increased; Two kinds of binder pellets reduction performance is basically approximate, thus QTJ adhesive can completely replace bentonite in oxide pellet production and has a good application prospect.
