Abstract: Shatanjiao ore filed is the large copper and gold ore-field that is located in the eastern part of the Tongling ore-concentrated area in Anhui province,it is also the ore filed with low degree of geological work in Tonlign ore-concentrated area.The Shatanjiao medium-sized skarn type copper deposit is mainly found in Shatanjiao ore-field,Yaojialing supper-large Cu-Au-Pb-Zn deposit,Guihuachong medium-sized Cu-Au polymetallic deposit and Longchijing small-sized Cu-Fe deposit are found gradually in Shatanjiao ore-field.Longchijing Cu-Fe deposit is located in the paraxial region of the northwest wing of Daigongshan anticline,the central region of south contact zone Shatanjiao rock mass and the eastern part of Shatanjiao Cu ore-field.Based on the geological region of the Longchijing Cu-Fe mining area,the regional geological background,deposit geological characteristics are analyzed,besides that，the deposit genesis and prospecting indicators are discussed in detail to provide reference for the prospecting work in the mining area.
