Abstract: A copper-iron ore from Xinjiang Qiemo with iron grade of 50.92%, copper grade of 0.31%, sulfur content of 3.46%, desulfurization of iron concentrate and comprehensive recovery of copper and sulfur test was conducted in order to reduce sulfur content in iron concentrate and comprehensive recovery and utilize of copper and sulfur. According to comparison of the separation process, iron concentrate with 67.12%iron grade, 76.39% iron recovery, 0.26% sulfur grade, sulfur concentrate with 23.86% sulfur grade, 79.28% sulfur recovery, copper concentrate with 15.74% copper grade, 70.66% copper recovery was achieved by chosing combination of medication and first flotation and then magnetic separation process. Iron concentrate could reach the quality requirements and comprehensive utilization of this type of ores was achieved.
