Numerical Simulation of Surface Deformation Law Induced by Safety Pillar Stoping

Abstract

Abstract: Master surface deformation law of safety pillar in stoping process has an important meaning for protection of surface buildings and structure.Taken the Chengchao Iron Mine as an engineering background, surface deformation of western safety pillar in stoping process was analyzed by FLAC^3D and from five aspects as surface horizontal deformation, ground settlement, plant location surface deformation, stress analysis and plastic zone analysis, surface deformation law was obtained and stoping suggestions were proposed.
