Abstract: The similar material model test was used to study the influence law of mining of 13021 working surface of Liuhe Coal Mine to failure height of overburden rock, while the sand-proof pillar was also determined.Dynamic evolution process of the failure height of the overburden rock during mining process of 13021 working surface was analyzed.Through the different section of the similar material model test, the test results indicate that the average thickness of full-seam mining at 13021 working surface is 2.7m, and the maximum height of overlying rock caving zone is 16.1 m.The results of model test have certain of reference value for the establishment of sand-proof pillar.
