Application of Energy Analysis in Blasting Vibration Monitoring

Abstract: Since conventional blasting vibration monitoring method only consider the single factor of vibration peak speed, and it could not evaluate the damage degree of blasting seismic effect well. Blasting vibration monitoring results were analysis by time-energy density analysis which based on wavelet packet analysis technology, and comprehensive and precise evaluation was made on blasting vibration effect based on comprehensive consideration of vibration velocity, frequency and lasting time. This method can overcome the shortage of conventional method, and it has certain guiding significant to blasting operation of open-pit mine.
