Abstract: Content of iron in a large scale asbestos deposit tailings in Qinghai is high, powder ore with content of iron 27.62% could obtain through one time dry type coarse-size separated.The magnetic powder ore with low content of harmful impurities,through the experimental studies of gravity and magnetic beneficiation combined method technology,single low intensity magnetic separation technology and low intensity magnetic separation technology with dispersant, could find out the sample rich with asbestos fiber could only get the ideal technical indicators under the condition of good dispersion of asbestos fiber, finally iron grade and recovery rate of concentrate could reach to 63.19% and 74.58%, the economic and social benefit are significant.
