Abstract: The west slope of Sijiaying Mine is high and steep，and it is close to the residential area， so the blasting effect is highly required. The pre-splitting blasting technology is adopted，the large diame⁃ ter down the hole drill is used for drilling，the large diameter latex explosive is selected for charging，the digital electronic detonator is connected to the network，and the blasting effect of reducing particle vibra⁃ tion velocity and block rate is realized by using the blasting shock wave and the ultimate strength character⁃ istics of rock，which effectively ensures the stability of production and the safety of residents in the mining area.
