Abstract: In order to explore the influence of the type and content of gelling agent on the rheological properties of filling slurry of Luohe Iron Mine, Brookfield R/S plus rheometer was used to study the rheological properties of Luohe Iron Mine's unclassified tailings, unclassified tailings and cement, and unclassified tailings and cementitious powder slurry. The effects of different slurry concentrations and different binders on the slurry's rheological curve, yield stress, viscosity coefficient and resistance loss along the way were analyzed. The results show that with the increase of filling concentration, the yield stress and viscosity of unclassified tailings slurry increase continuously. The yield stress of unclassified tailings and cement and unclassified tailings and cementitious powder filling slurry increases with the increase of slurries concentration. The addition of cement and cementitious powder will increase the yield stress of the unclassified tailings slurry, but the addition of cement will reduce the viscosity of the slurry. The addition of cement and cementitious powder will increase the edge of the unclassified tailings slurry. The resistance loss along the route increases with the increase of the concentration and the optimal concentration is 66%~68%.
