Abstract: In order to understand the variation law of the saturation line of the tailings reservoir in Yunfu Pyrite Mine and guide the production and management of the tailings reservoir，the saturation line of the tailings reservoir dam body in the upstream dam construction method is analyzed and studied.Combined with the change of monitoring data of saturation line in different periods in the process of production control and safety management of tailings reservoir，the influence of tailings reservoir accumulation dam height， drainage facilities and water level control on the buried depth of saturation line is analyzed，and the engi⁃ neering measures and effects of abnormal saturation line are summarized.Through the inspection of the con⁃ trol effect of the saturation line of the tailings dam body，it can be seen that a series of corresponding mea⁃ sures have achieved good implementation results，and this kind of method has a certain reference role in the control of the saturation line of similar tailings reservoirs.
