Abstract: The high-temperature（400-700 ℃），high-dust（20-50 g/Nm³），and high-sulfur（SO₂ concentration exceeding 2 000 mg/Nm³）characteristics of off-gas from molybdenum roasting rotary kilns lead to frequent failures of traditional organic fiber filter bags，significantly hindering the sustainable de⁃ velopment of the industry. Metallic membrane filter bags，with their uniform pore size，high filtration pre⁃ cision，non-shedding properties，resistance to organic solvents，corrosion，and high temperatures，have emerged as a novel solution for off-gas treatment in molybdenum roasting rotary kilns. Industrial cases demonstrate that the application of 304 stainless steel metallic membrane filter bags in molybdenum roast⁃ ing processes enhances operational stability compared to fiber-based alternatives，shortens the molybde⁃ num oxide roasting workflow，and reduces comprehensive operational and maintenance costs，which pro⁃ vides a groundbreaking solution for high-temperature flue gas treatment in the metallurgical industry.
