In order to explore the influence of slope top crack on the seepage regularity of rainwater in the slope and the overall stability,a certain open-pit mine slope was taken as the research object, and two models of slope without crack and slope with crack were established by numerical simulation method to ob⁃ serve the seepage law and stability changes of slope during rainfall. The simulation results show that in the case of rainfall, when there are cracks at the top of slope, the rainwater infiltration increases and the infiltra⁃ tion at the foot of slope increases most obviously. The safety factor of the slope is greatly reduced, and the critical slip extends to the slope foot. The results show that when there are cracks at the top of the slope, the rainfall has the most serious effect on the slope foot, and the treatment of the slope foot should be paid atten⁃ tion to.
