Aiming at the problems that the arsenic content of a gold-bearing sulfur concentrate in An⁃ hui is too high (up to 5.05%) to be sold,an arsenic-sulfur separation test was carried out. The results show that pyrite is preferentially floated with activated carbon as de-reagent,lime as pH regulator,ZJY-7 as in⁃ hibitor, butyl xanthate as collector and 2# oil as foaming agent. The flotation tailings were ground to -0.074 mm accounting for 82.37%. After one roughing and one scavenging magnetic separation of arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite,a marketable sulfur concentrate with sulfur content of 52.16%,arsenic content of 0.48%,gold content of 1.86 g / t,sulfur recovery rate of 14.32%,sulfur and iron concentrate with sulfur content of 35.81%,arsenic content of 0.63%,gold content of 0.61 g/t,sulfur recovery rate of 64.08%,and gold⁃ bearing arsenic concentrate with arsenic content of 16.46%,gold content of 8.14 g/t,arsenic recovery rate of 91.25%,gold recovery rate of 80.22%,and total sulfur recovery rate of 78.40% were obtained. The test results can provide reference for the treatment of high arsenic gold-bearing sulfur concentrate in similar mines.
