Pre-enrichment Test of Coarse Particles of Copper Ore in Flotation Tailings
Using Hydraulic Flotation Machine

In order to improve the total copper recovery rate of Mirador copper mine, aiming at the
problems of high copper grade and large copper loss rate in the +75 μm fraction of roughing tailings, a new
Hydrofloat hydraulic flotation machine was used to investigate the effects of aeration rate of hydraulic flota⁃
tion machine, rising water flow rate, collector butyl xanthate dosage and foaming agent F-501 dosage on the
pre-enrichment effect of roughing tailings. The results show that flotation experiment carried out when aera⁃
tion rate is 0.85 m3 /min, rising water flow rate is 5 L/min, butyl xanthate dosage is 20 g/t, and F-501 dos⁃
age is 20 g/t, the rough concentrate with copper grade of 0.30% and recovery rate of 86.7% can be ob⁃
tained,which can provide reference for on-site process transformation.
