Abstract: In order to understand the feasibility of geophysical AMT measurement method in the ex⁃ ploration of Xujie graphite deposit,the profile measurement experiment in the known ore section is carried out by EH-4 electromagnetic imaging system. According to the detected low-resistivity anomalies,the spatial location of the graphite ore body is predicted. Moreover,IMAGEM and MT-Pioneer are used to per⁃ form the one-dimension and two-dimensional inversion of the measured data respectively. The inversion results are compared with the drilling data.The results show that the low-resistivity bands in the resistivity cross-section have a good correspondence with the known graphite ore bodies,and the two-dimensional inversion results are more consistent with the actual geological conditions than the one-dimensional inver⁃ sion results. Therefore the AMT measurement method has good resolution ability for low resistivity bodies and is an effective exploration method for graphite ore,which can guide the next exploration work in the mine area.
