Abstract: In order to study and verify the influence of vertical disc stirred mill on the ultrafine grinding effect of ferrite magnetic powder,the orthogonal test was carried out based on the test platform of vertical disc stirred mill in the laboratory.The influence of five key parameters,such as the diameter of the stirring plate,the gap between adjacent stirring plates,the area ratio of the gap plate,the linear velocity of the edge of the stirring plate and the number of stirring plates,on the grinding effect was studied. The results show that with energy consumption as the assessment index,the influence from large to small is the rotation speed of the stirring plate,the number of stirring plates,the diameter of the stirring plate,the gap between adjacent stirring plates and the area ratio of the gap plate.The ultra-fine grinding process of ferrite magnetic powder in Fuyang production base of BGRIMM Machinery and Automation Technology Co.,Ltd.was compared. The vertical plate stirring mill was used as the ultra-fine grinding equipment,which can reduce the energy consumption by 22.5% per ton.
