Abstract: In order to make full use of the technical advantages of remote sensing technique in the exploitation of mineral resources, the maintenance of mining order and the improvement of mine environment, taking multi-platform and high-resolution remote sensing data as the information source, firstly, the image data is preprocessed by several processing techniques, such as image gemetric registration and image fusion, then, the interpretation markes of several mine features are established, finally, according to the principal of from know to unknow, easy before hard and gradual interpretation,a variety of human-computer interactive information extraction methods are adopted appropriately, monitoring and analysis of the mineral development status in Jiangsu Province in 2016 are conducted.Through the comprehensive analysis of monitoring results and field verification,a total of 341 mining spots are obtained, among them, the number of suspected illegal mining spots is 78,the suspected illegal spots can be divided into suspected cross-border mining and suspected unlicensed mining, their numbers is 19 and 59 respectively.Based on the abvoe disucssion results, the temporal and spatial distribution regularities and dynamic characteristics of the mining spots are analyzed,so as to provide reliable reference for national mining administration, land and space use control.
