Abstract: In order to develop and utilize Fujinchuan Rutile Mine, the alrealy existed geological data of the mining area is analyzed comprehensively, and based on the results of field exploration, sample test and the comprehensive study results of some key sections,Fujinchuan Rutile Deposit is studied systematically from the five aspects of regional metallogenic geological background, geological characteristics of the mining area, geological characteristics of the deposit, rutile occurrence mode and deposit genesis, prospecting indicators of the deposit are summarized, besides that, comprehensive utilization prospective of the deposit is evaluated from the four aspects of metallogenic potential, ore processing technique, mining technical conditions of the deposit and mineral economic benefits. The study results indicated that:①Fujinchuan Rutile Deposit belongs to stratified volcanic rock deposit with large scale on Liushan-Yangce rutile ore belt, the deposit occurs in Middle Proterozoic Zuolaozhuang Formation, and it is controlled by strata and its distribution state is table;②the ore-bearing rocks is mainly for plagioclase amphibole schist and biotite plagioclase schist, and which is mainly for coarse fraction and amenable to ore dressing;③the metallogenic potential is great, the ore processing property is good, mining technical conditions of the deposit is simple, mineral economic benefits of the deposit is ideal, therefore, development and utilization perspective of the deposit is good.
