Abstract: Lead and zinc mineral are finely disseminated in a low grade leadzinc oxide ore. Lead oxidation rate is high, lead oxide minerals in grinding process is easy to produce Pb2+, have certain activation to sphalerite, increases difficult of lead zinc separation. Vulcanization process, namely, adding sodium sulphide in ball mill, not only activated lead oxide ores, but also weakened the Pb2+ activation of sphalerite. Experiment with zinc sulfate and sodium sulfite as inhibitors of zinc mineral, 25# aerofloat and butyl ammonium aerofloat as collector of lead mineral, realize recycling of lead mineral; Lead flotation tailings via sulfur suppression and zinc float technique, with lime as inhibitors of pyrite, copper sulfate as sphalerite activator, xanthate as collector, recovery of zinc mineral was realized. Eventually closed circuit test for lead concentrate has 66.25% Pb, 4.60% Zn, lead recovery rate is 80.13%; zinc concentrate has 57.93% Zn, 1.84% Pb, zinc recovery rate is 88.77%, index has reached expected effect.
