Experiment on Reverse Flotation of a Collophanite in Guizhou

Abstract: P2O5 grade of a collophanite ore is 24.66% in Guizhou,whose content of MgO is relatively high,collophanite and dolomite are main minerals.In order to highly efficiently recycle phosphor from the ore,experiment using single flotation was conducted.Results show that,at the grinding fineness of 74.76% passing 0.074 mm,taking anionic agent OSS as collector,taking phosphoric acid as regulator,phosphor concentrate with P2O5 grade of 34.68%,recovery of 92.61% was obtained via the closed-circuit flowsheet of one roughingone cleaning.It also verified that reverse flotation and reagent system was theoretically feasible by zeta potential experiment and adsorption capacity measurement.
