Application of the Curtain Grouting Technique in the Superlarge Cavern of a Mine

Abstract: Slipping system is the important part of underground mine, and it takes an important role in the production and construction of underground mine. The slipping system of a mine is distributed underground, the cavern excavation of slipping system is influenced by the complicated geological environment and technical conditions. By analyzing the geological and hydrological situations comprehensively, the construction method of surface curtain grouting is adopted, the surrounding rock of slipping system is consolidated, the fissures of surrounding rock is filled by slurry, so as to improve the geological environment. The drilling workloads is reduced, the whole construction period is shortened, and the engineering cost is lowered by using the branch drilling technique. The successful application results of curtain grouting technique in superlarge cavern can guarantee the excavation of the caverns of slipping system safety and with high efficiency, besides that, the further construction conditions is provided. The above discussion results in this paper can provide some reliable experience for the construction of the similar caverns.
