Abstract: There is 61.71% CaF₂, 27.79% SiO₂ in a fluorite ore from Zhejiang, belongs to quartz-fluorite type fluorite ore. To develop and utilize the fluorite ore resources, beneficiation test were conducted on the ore. Optimum flotation conditions determinate by condition test is grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 70%, regulator sodium carbonate 1 000 g/t, depressor sodium silicate 1 000 g/t, collector oleic acid 500 g/t, via one roughing-six cleaning-one scavenging, middles back to the flowsheet in process, fluorite concentrate with yield 61.62%, CaF₂ grade 97.39%, recovery 96.96% was obtained, impurity content is qualified. The test results can provide basis for the final determination of the fluorite ore beneficiation process.
