Study on a New Method of Synthesis for Thiocarbamate Flotation Reagents

Abstract: Thiocarbamate flotation reagents were prepared by the reaction of xanthate and primary amine, or secondary amine, at 　　aminoethane, sodium xanthate, disulfur compound dosage of 1.1〖DK（〗∶〖DK）〗1.0〖DK（〗∶〖DK）〗1.0, in water at 30~35 ℃ for 1.5h with a self-prepared disulfur compound (ZS) as reaction accelerator. The synthetic rate is more than 93.0% and the purity is greater than 98.0%. The sythesis process was operation simplified, reaction mild, production quality stable, environmental friendly.
