Abstract: Control of saturation line is one of important points in tailing dam monitoring,which plays an important role in tailing dam safety.Selected historical data from monitoring data of tailing dam,a kind of saturation line prediction method of GM(1，1) grey prediction model which generated base on accumulation was proposed,prediction model was established.The consequence indicated this mothod had advantages like less data needed,high precision modeling,simple,practical and others,could predict saturation line height accurately,helpful to the increase of tailing dam safety level.
