Abstract: Recovery industrial test was done on ilmenite in tailings after low intensity magnetic separation by adopt SLon-1750 vertical ring pulsation high gradient high intensity magnetic separator at Heishan iron ore in Chengde. Under the condition of high intensity magnetic separator pulsation stroke 24mm, pulsation punching number 240 times/min, magnetic induction 0.225 T,  raw ore of TiO₂ grade 16.35% could get out the qualified tailings with operation yield 51.06%, the grade and recovery rate of high intensity magnetic mineral TiO₂ reached to 27.40% and 82.02%.
