Experimental Research on Mineral Processing of Refractory Iron Ore in Gaocun

Abstract: With the decline of mining face in Gaocun stope, a large number of refractory ores ap⁃ peared in the mined ores. The content of TFe in the ore is 21.73%. Iron mainly exists in the form of magnet⁃ ic iron,with a content of 17.90%,a distribution rate of 83.14%,and a main impurity SiO2 content of 31.77%. In order to study the adaptability of refractory ore dressing to the process flow of Aoshan concen⁃ trator,the beneficiation test was carried out. The results show that : ①Gaocun refractory ore is crushed to- 3 mm. Under the condition of magnetic field intensity of 320 kA/m,the tailings with yield of 15.60% and iron grade of 5.80% can be thrown by wet preconcentration,and the grade of rough concentrate can be in⁃ creased to 24.63%,which is increased by 2.94 percentage points. ②Under the condition that the grinding fineness of the first stage is -0.076 mm accounting for 45%,the magnetic field intensity of the first stage magnetic separation is 159 kA/m,the grinding fineness of the second stage is -0.076 mm accounting for 75%,the magnetic field intensity of the second stage magnetic separation is 159 kA/m,the grinding fine⁃ ness of the third stage is -0.043 mm accounting for 95%,and the magnetic field intensity of the third stage magnetic separation is 159 kA/m and 143 kA/m respectively,the iron concentrate with a yield of 26.28%, an iron grade of 64.41% and an iron recovery of 77.83% can be obtained. The test results can provide tech⁃ nical support for the subsequent production of the plant.
