Abstract: In order to improve the flotation index of a concentrator,in view of the problem that the onsite copper recovery rate and copper concentrate grade are 92.66% and 17.83%,respectively,the inspection indicators copper recovery rate and copper concentrate grade are 92.32% and 17.80%,respectively,the two indexes are equivalent and lower than the design indexes of copper recovery rate(93.33%)and copper con⁃ centrate grade(18.25%),the process mineralogy of the ore is systematically studied. The results show that the copper grade of the ore sample is 0.42%,the oxidation rate of copper minerals is 3.57%,and the copper oxide part is difficult to recover in the flotation process, which affects the copper recovery rate. The average particle size of copper minerals is 28.39 μm,and the micro-fine particles(-9.6 + 4.8 μm)and ultra-fine particles(-4.8 μm)in copper minerals are relatively high, which is not conducive to recovery. The dissocia⁃ tion degree of copper mineral monomer is low,and the proportion of poor intergrowth(0~20%)is relatively high, which is not conducive to recovery. In the future, scientific research can be carried out according to the above situation to improve the comprehensive recovery and flotation index of copper.
