Research and Application on Energy Saving Technology for Comprehensive Utilization of Natural Wind Pressure in Ekou Iron Mine

Abstract: Aiming to explore the energy-saving potential of mine ventilation under the synergistic ef⁃ fect of natural wind pressure and frequency conversion technology,this study takes the ventilation system of the southwest south wing mining area of Ekou Iron Mine as the research object,In response to the significant height difference (324 m difference between the intake and return air shafts) and the prominent impact of nat⁃ ural wind pressure in the mining area,the focus is on researching and solving how to achieve energy-saving and emission reduction effects by optimizing fan operating parameters while ensuring a design air volume of 108.32 m3 /s. Firstly,a multi parameter coupling calculation model of natural wind pressure frequency speed air volume is established to quantitatively analyze the compensation effect of favorable wind pressure on the ventilation system in winter. Secondly,multi turbine station frequency conversion control technology is ap⁃ plied to dynamically adjust the operating frequency of the fans to match the natural wind pressure fluctua⁃ tions,and at the same time,parallel wind pressure balancing technology is introduced to solve the pressure imbalance problem when multiple fans operate in coordination. By real-time monitoring of key parameters such as wind pressure and air volume in the ventilation system,a closed-loop optimization system of natural wind pressure +intelligent regulation is constructed. Under the condition of maintaining a constant total air volume,the use of natural wind pressure in winter can reduce the operating frequency of the main fan by 4 Hz. Through actual data verification,this scheme can save ventilation costs of 200 100 yuan/month by con⁃tinuous operation in winter. Practice has proved that there is significant energy-saving space for natural wind pressure in high drop mine ventilation systems. Through the coordinated optimization of frequency conver⁃ sion technology and natural wind pressure,the dual goal of ensuring air supply and reducing energy con⁃ sumption can be achieved,which provides a replicable technical route and detailed data support for the green and low-carbon transformation of mine ventilation systems.
