Abstract: In view of the large amount of dust in the Lane 5314 of Tongxin Mine during the excavation period,which caused low visibility in the roadway and severe mechanical wear to seriously threatening the health of the workers,through technical research,the problems existing in the original dust removal device of the roadway were analyzed. According to the current excavation situation,a comprehensive dust removal device such as "spiral foam spray device + recyclable spray water curtain" was designed. From the perspec⁃ tive of the actual application effect on site,after the Lane 5314 adopted the comprehensive dust removal de⁃ vice,the average dust concentration at the working face was controlled below 42 mg/m3 ,the dust concentra⁃ tion in the roadway was controlled below 37 mg/m3 ,and the visibility in the roadway was increased to 85 m, achieving remarkable application results.
