In order to solve the problem that the residual coal oxidation in the goaf caused by the min⁃ ing of the working face through the structural area threatens the safe production of the working face,the geo⁃ logical conditions of the working face,the spontaneous combustion of the coal body and the principle of nitro⁃ gen injection fire prevention and extinguishing are analyzed,and the nitrogen injection fire prevention and extinguishing technology is used to control the goaf.The Fluent numerical simulation software was used to cal⁃ culate the nitrogen injection position. The interval nitrogen injection was designed at the position of 50 m be⁃ hind the working face,and the nitrogen injection amount was 2 200 m3 /h.The results show that after the ni⁃ trogen injection fire prevention and extinguishing measures are taken in the working face,the CO concentra⁃ tion decreases from 0.009 6% to the highest 0.000 2%,which ensures the safe production of the working face.
