Design and Application of Remote Automatic Control of Heavy Plate Feeder

The heavy plate feeder is one of the key equipment in the production process of mine chain-
breaking,which affects the production efficiency of the upstream and downstream processes. The traditional
manual control mode can not improve the production efficiency stably,and it is easy to have operation errors
during long running,leading to problems such as blockage and sedimentation. In order to ensure the safe
and efficient operation of the equipment,the automatic control of the heavy plate feeder is studied,and the
sensor technology and automatic control technology are used to organically combine the laser level meter,
electrical switch,communication module,frequency converter and other equipment with PLC to realize the
automatic ore feeding function of the heavy plate feeder,reduce the consumption of spare parts,and greatly
reduce the labor intensity.
