Abstract:

As a solid waste produced in iron and steel smelting，the accumulation of steel slag contin⁃

ues to grow rapidly every year. It not only has the risk of polluting the surrounding environment，but also has

a low overall utilization rate，resulting in waste of resources. At present，more green，cheap and efficient

new processes are needed in the field of steel slag to improve its comprehensive utilization rate. In order to

adapt to the high-quality development of steel slag field and explore the development direction of compre⁃

hensive utilization of steel slag in the future，the research status of comprehensive utilization of steel slag is

reviewed. The application prospects of steel slag in metal recovery，building materials，agricultural produc⁃

tion，new ceramics and other fields are analyzed. The limitations of application in different fields are com⁃

pared，and the development direction of comprehensive utilization of steel slag is prospected，which can pro⁃

vide experience for improving the utilization rate of steel slag in China.
