Design and Application of Airborne Dust Removal System for Large Section Rapid Excavation Face

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of dust pollution in the rapid excavation face,the east wing return air roadway of Xiaobaodang No. 1 Coal Mine was taken as the research object. By analyzing the rapid excavation production process,the cutting dust production and migration law,the existing problems of the original dust removal system and the equipment layout of the excavation-anchor integrated machine,a set of airborne dust removal system was designed under the guidance of long press short extraction ventilation dust removal technology. The field application shows that the dust removal system has a good purification ef⁃ fect on the cutting dust of the heading face. The average dust reduction rates of total dust and respirable dust in the personnel operation area reach 87.91 % and 85.72 % respectively,and the working environ⁃ ment of the working face is significantly improved.
