Abstract: In order to solve a series of production and environmental protection problems in Sijiaying Yanshan Iron Mine,such as the wear of valves and pipelines caused by the coarse particulate materials contained in the pipeline transportation medium under the scouring effect of slurry liquid,the jamming of valves,the failure of valves to open and close and the lax closing of valves during the opening and closing process caused by coarse particulate materials and broken steel balls,the string blockage of pipelines in the switching process caused by the lax closing of valves,which affects the continuity of production,the overflow of slurry caused by the leakage of pipelines and valves,and the environmental pollution,the opti⁃ mal configuration of valves is realized by selecting appropriate slurry valves according to the different posi⁃ tions of slurry media and pipelines. Furthermore,it can improve a series of problems such as shutdown, production reduction and environmental pollution caused by faults in the use of valves,and provide experi⁃ ence for the selection of pulp valves in other mining enterprises.
