    Coal seam adsorption characteristic is an important aspect of coal and gas outburst research, and a large number of experimental studies and theoretical researches have been carried out by numerous scholars. Absorption mathematical model and absorption influence factors of coal body containing gas are summarized systematically at home and abroad. Meanwhile, some problems and difficulties existing in coal body containing gas adsorption research in China are analyzed. Development trend of further coal body containing gas absorption research and problems needed to resolve are further discussed.

    Based on the pseudo-static method, numerical simulation analysis was done on the stability situation of Fujiawu high and steep mountain slope dump in most favorable rainfall saturated and seismic forces combined conditions. Bases on pseudo-static method, the dynamic-fluid-solid coupling stability analysis can simulate the stability situation of dump in two kinds of combination well. The safety coefficient agrees well with other methods, which provides effective method for stability analysis of dump under complicated conditions.

    Constitutive equation of damaged coal and rock mass under condition of mining fissure field of two-dimensional plane and three-dimensional space is derived using damage mechanics, material mechanics, mining rock mass mechanics and principle of mass transfer and so on. Stress changes and its relations with the damaged coal and rock mass are revealed, and it provides reference for coal rock and gas coupling study.

    The litter radius of blasting powdering region is, the fewer ore fines generates. It indicates that calculating the radius of powdering region has great significance to blasting optimization. Through theoretical analysis and combined with detonation theory, attenuation law of shock wave and failure criterion of rock, radius of powdering region was calculated. Compared the results with study of А.Н.Ханукаев, the calculated values were the identical, which verified the reliability of this calculate method in this paper.

    Through the theoretical analysis, developing height of water flowing fractured zone after up and down two groups of coal mining and theoretical failure form estimation were obtained. Combined computer numerical simulation and similar material simulation at laboratory, overlying strata damage law, roof and floor stress distribution law and overlying strata settlement law after up and down two groups of coal mining were studied, and the maximum value of water flowing fractured zone was obtained. Overlying strata damage height after down coal seam mining was simulated, and the simulative height of water flowing fractured zone was obtained. These simulated results were compared with the corresponding theoretical value. Damage and movement law of overlying strata after group ascending mining was analyzed synthetically.

    Some problems exist in the phosphorus reduction system of Meishan Iron Mine, such as high content of SiO2 in concentrate, low Fe recovery rate, low scavenging yields from low intensity magnetic separation and high intensity magnetic separation, easily blockage of media box in high intensity magnetic separation. The discussion on the technical index in on-site process under different magnetic fields is made, which provides a reference for adjusting the magnetic field intensity of the on-site production equipment.

    Due to the uneven ore blending of a Guangdong magnetite ore, substandard iron concentrate with low Fe grade and high content of sulfur often appears. So the beneficiation tests of iron improvement and sulfur reduction are made. The results show that final concentrate with Fe grade of 66.08% and sulfur content of lowering to 0.28% are obtained by adopting the process of stage grinding-stage magnetic separation-flotation for decreasing sulfur. Fe concentrate's quality is effectively improved.

    In view of huge reserves of tailings with high TFe content grading at 15.02% and mFe grade of 1.65% in tailings dam of Lunan Mining Company of Laiwu Steel & Iron Company, the re-grinding and re-concentration tests are carried out due to its huge recovery value. The test results show that the tailings are effectively treated by the process of grinding-coarse magnetic separation-regrinding-magnetic separation -reserve flotation. By this method, final concentrate with Fe grade of 65.76%, the yield of 5.50% and the recovery of 24.08% were obtained, which brings significant economic benefit.

    Although the privately operated mine goaf is very complex, three-dimensional state of goaf could master clearly by adopted advanced CMS goaf scanning system. According to CMS system survey data, the stability of goaf is simulated. Filling the goaf by tailings can not only eliminate safe hidden trouble, but also protect the environment by reducing the area of tailings.

    Spray concrete for mine laneway was optimized with silica fume, while its process was as following: the content of silica fume was determined to 5% of quality of cement, silica fume solution of ratio of water to material 0.50 adopted to wet surface of crushed stone, then wet crushed stone mixed with cement first, then with sand. The site test result indicates that the rate of rebound decreases by one-third around, reduce range of dust concentration is between 20%~48%, compressive strength at 28 days increases 30% around. Through optimization, not only the spring-back and dust decrease, but also compressive strength of concrete improves. It has good guidance for the optimization of spray concrete for mine laneway.
