    Under the condition of China's booming iron & steel industry, the development characteristics of domestic iron ore mining industry was analyzed. As demand continues to increase, resource reserve increased owing to the huge exploration investment. Although the total capacity reached record high due to the new mines construction were accelerated,the production can not satisfy the increasing demand of the market. With the development of China's iron ore industry, mining and beneficiation technology improved greatly, mining efficiency and concentrate quality improved. Large, high efficiency and automatic equipment were widely used, and complicated iron ore began to utilize gradually.

    Based on the experiment with similar material, the top of the goaf was loaded the pressure several times. The XJTUDP system was used to observe the process the model. The laws of the subsidence under different loads and the laws of deformation of rock with different depths were obtained. Through regression analysis, the formula for expected the subsidence under the pressure is proposed, which can provide the basis for evaluation and treatment measures of the new buildings over the goaf.

    The existing problems of the mining scheme in Fenghuangshan silver mine were analysis. Sublevel caving of the arrangement of mining entrance along the run of the ore vein has been offered when the steeply inclined medium thick orebody was under the instability of the surrounding rock mass. The structure parameter in the stope was optimized. The entrance of ore removal is enabled to be close to footwall arrangement, and the scope of the flow of ore is made greater. Footwall residual amount is reduced and the ore recovery is raised.

    The Maluping mine of Kailin Group takes the sublevel field subsequent filling method to mine ore, and it can ensure the security of the mining area during the construction and operation.     Nanfen open-pit mine now begin the third phase of expanding rib and the fourth phase of exploitation engineering. Engineering geological condition of mining area is complicated, and it mainly consists of green mudstone which has the characteristic of strength decreases sharply when meet water. Joint of the rock of the mining area is finely developed, in addition the frequently production blasting vibration, much slope have crack, slump, rolling stones. Finally, based on the theory that sliding force is greater than the anti-sliding force is the necessary and sufficient condition to occur the landslide as the sliding criterion, the principle and method for sliding force remote monitoring is presented, and a kind of systemic landslide remote monitoring network is established in the landslides of Nanfen Open-pit Mine. After 10 months site test, it shows that landslide monitoring system is scientific and practical.

    The room and pillar upward horizontal sublevel filling method with prestressed anchor to support after excavation was used in Yongshaba mine of Kailin Group. Mechanical model by a long cable to know when the more soft rock, the smaller the elastic modulus of rock mass, the maximum bolt shear stress suffered by the smaller, the greater and more uniform the shear stress distribution. On the contrary, the more hard rock, elastic modulus is larger, the maximum shear stress value is large, the more concentrated and smaller the role of shear stress. The work provides a theoretical basis for the support design of mining follow-prestressed.

    After years of mining, the mining method in Miyun iron mine is changing from open-pit mining to underground mining. And in this process, sublevel rock drilling and stage room stoping method is used to take the ore in the pit outline. After its completeness, a vacant place about 52 500 m3 will be to take shape. Besides, a lot of pillars will be leaved behind and the ore in those pillars will be more than 400 000 tons. As time past, the earth pressure is increasing all the time and some pillars have collapsed. So impact earth pressure will happen at any time. Pillarless sublevel caving method will be used under the pit outline, so it is needed to deal with the vacant place and recycle the pillars before its beginning. Based on the problem of recycling of Pillars after sublevel rock drilling and stage room stoping in Miyun iron ore, it involves the recycling method, the blasting method and the recycling sequence and all the pillars have been recycled by this method successfully.

    The density regulator used for internal emulsion explosives were expanded perlite and chemical blowing agent commonly, but the density of the emulsion explosives with expanded perlite was difficult to control. Because the particle size, strength and oil resistance of the expanded perlite, the detonation performance of emulsion explosives was decreased. The properties of the emulsion explosives with the high-performance hollow glass microspheres were studied especially. The results show that the high-performance hollow glass microspheres can be used as sensitizer and stabilizer for emulsion explosives. The detonation distance, brisance and detonation velocity of the emulsion explosives were improved obviously when the filling quantity is 4%.

    Content of iron in a large scale asbestos deposit tailings in Qinghai is high, powder ore with content of iron 27.62% could obtain through one time dry type coarse-size separated.The magnetic powder ore with low content of harmful impurities,through the experimental studies of gravity and magnetic beneficiation combined method technology,single low intensity magnetic separation technology and low intensity magnetic separation technology with dispersant, could find out the sample rich with asbestos fiber could only get the ideal technical indicators under the condition of good dispersion of asbestos fiber, finally iron grade and recovery rate of concentrate could reach to 63.19% and 74.58%, the economic and social benefit are significant.

    On the basis of process mineralogy research result of a polymetallic sulphide ore in Qingyuan of Liaoning province, principle flowsheet of experimental study was made, according to the reasonable technology condition confirmed through experiment, closed circuit technological process experiment of one roughing one scavenging two cleaning operations copper and sulfur mixed flotation, one time weak magnetic lead sulfur separation, one time weak magnetic sulfur concentration, twice concentrate and float lead, one roughing one scavenging four times zinc cleaner flotation, middling order return were done, lead concentrate with Pb grade and recovery rate 60.79% and 90.83%,zinc concentrate with Zn grade and recovery rate 45.13% and 90.77%, sulfur concentrate with S grade and recovery rate 42.14% and 86.77 % were obtained, effect of efficient comprehensive recovery was reached.

    Recovery industrial test was done on ilmenite in tailings after low intensity magnetic separation by adopt SLon-1750 vertical ring pulsation high gradient high intensity magnetic separator at Heishan iron ore in Chengde. Under the condition of high intensity magnetic separator pulsation stroke 24mm, pulsation punching number 240 times/min, magnetic induction 0.225 T,  raw ore of TiO2 grade 16.35% could get out the qualified tailings with operation yield 51.06%, the grade and recovery rate of high intensity magnetic mineral TiO2 reached to 27.40% and 82.02%.

    In order to make sure 6 300 000 ton high mud content lean hematite at Sijiaying area pass the one stage separation system successfully, size-fractionated high intensity magnetic preconcentration was done on representative ore sample in the laboratory. The study indicates, size fraction sample of 13~6、6~2 mm could not discarding waste normally, but put into the pre-process system to handle them directly;the effect of wet high intensity magnetic preconcentration of size fraction sample of 2~0 mm is good,which could discard the qualified tailings of operation yield 50% around,discarding of a great deal of high mud content tailings are helpful to the stability of production system and mineral processing index.
