Abstract: To analyze the application effect of Arc light protection device in high voltage switchgear in coal mine.The parameters and harm of arc light were studied,and the ARC light protection technology and common protection measures were understood.On this basis,taking Nantun coal mine as an example,the implementation scheme and installation mode of Arc light protection device are determined.After installing arc protection device in Nantun Coal Mine,the ARC light protection device can complete the work of data sampling,displaying,calculating,tripping,detecting the abnormal communication of the external expander,and obtain the current data of the merged unit in time,remote acquisition of current signals,ARC light sensor in the event of failure can increase the intensity of light,for the protection device to transmit analog light signals,timely solution.Installing Arc light protection device in high voltage switchgear in coal mine can avoid short circuit,ensure safe operation of power supply facilities and control budget cost reasonably.
